Out with the old, in with the new

Hello!

I’ve had this little blog since 2011, where it started off as a space for me to share recipes and write food features. Over the last few years, life got somewhat busy and this little corner of the internet got rather dusty, with only a handful of posts over the last couple of years. Oops.

My life has changed dramatically since I started the blog – I have an amazing job, I got married, moved a few times, and in October 2018, I had a baby. I still love to cook and bake, but I don’t have the capacity to come up with new recipes all the time these days. What I do have – now that I’m on maternity leave – is a bit more headspace. So I hope you’ll bear with me as I reshape Peach Trees and Bumblebees to be a bit more reflective of the things I’m currently passionate about – parenting, food, and travels.

Thank you to everyone who’s read or supported this blog over the last few years. I hope the shift in direction will offer something new. There will still be cake, I promise.
