I like to cook or bake for my loved ones on Valentines Day, but little presents are always lovely to give and receive! If you’ve got a foodie to buy a present for this Valentines Day, then look no further! We’ve pulled together a fantastic list of potential pressies to suit all budgets. And for the single people, why not just treat yourself to a little something?

Celebrated artist-designer, Jaime Hayon, has designed some gorgeous boxes for Godiva. Boxes can be filled with an assortmentof the limited edition Visages d’Amour - AKA ruddy lovely chocolates! A beautiful present.

This is the ultimate burger cookbook! London’s love of burgers knows no bounds, and this new book is a must have for anything craving a meaty mouthful. My boyfriend liked the look of the blue cheese stuffed burgers – so I don’t think this book will end up gathering much dust on my shelf!

Stoneware baker, £46
Stoneware can be pretty expensive (*cough Le Creuset cough*) but it’s definitely a worthwhile thing to have in your arsenal. This beautiful red baker is a very modest £46 and is ideal for mains and puddings. It’s an ideal gift for the frugal foodie!

Pretty knives, £50 for five
Cheer up your kitchen with these beautiful patterned knives! I have the ‘flower power’ ones and they are absolutely brilliant. You can also buy them in a knife block (for £80) that would look gorgeous in any kitchen. They also come in animal prints and multicoloured Union flags!

This is one of my favourite drinks of all time! It’s absolutely delish – with notes of strawberries and a hint of spice. The Prestige Rosé is subtle and light – a very drinkable champagne and the perfect celebration bottle for Valentines Day. Enjoy with your loved one while you toast to a fabulous you.

Chocolate

Seed and Bean make the UK’s only 100% ethically accredited chocolate, so you can buy a bar knowing you are doing some good! I tried the lemon and cardamom flavour and it was very zingy with a hint of spice – absolutely divine! Makes a lovely gift for a foodie with a sweet tooth – but not too sweet!

I am absolutely in love with these new glasses from Pampered Chef. They’re really tall and elegant and hold a nice big glass of vino! They’re a really lovely gift for the wine fan in your life, as they are excellent quality and a little bit different to your average wine glass. Love the detail with the frosted dots – just gorgeous!

Cornish Yarg’s heart shaped nettle leaf-wrapped cheese
This gorgeous cheese is hand-made in Cornwall by award-winning artisan cheesemaker Lynher Dairies. Cornish Yarg is a semi-hard, slightly tangy cheese that tastes creamy under the rind and yet crumbly near the core.   The cheese is pressed and brined before being shaped by hand into a heart and then carefully wrapped in edible nettle leaves from neighbouring properties in Cornwall. The perfect gift!

Salted caramel, £3.75
This is absolutely beautiful straight off the spoon, but is an excellent accompaniment to ice cream, banana splits, and warm brownies too. Salted caramel is incredibly popular at the moment and this is a particularly delicious one. It’s made with Anglesey Sea salt crystals and a whole lot of love.

Rose is a terribly romantic flavour, so why not make some rose cupcakes or shortbread this Valentines? This gorgeous rose water is made through a simple water extraction of classic Persian Damask Rose blossom and is delicious on all sorts of puddings. It’s lovely with fruit salads or in frostings too!

Le Coeur des Anges Sauvignon Gris Rose is a refreshing wine with just a hint of blush – the perfect accompaniment to a Valentines meal! Best with white meats and fish, it’s a light and tasty bouquet with an elegant finish. Really rather delish – and the bottle is very cute!

The littlest of little gestures, but the tastiest little pick me up – I recently tried this amazing range and I was really impressed! Romantic breakfasts aren’t going to be easy with Valentines Day falling on a Thursday this year, but buy your loved one a tasty smoothie and you’re good to go!
